The FSAARC runs regular VEC License Testing Sessions on the 2nd Saturday of February, April, June, August, October and December. The April Session each year is held at the Hanging Judge Ham Fest.

The session commences at 10:00am in the Main Conference Room of the Sebastian County Emergency Operations Center, 8400 Zero St. Fort Smith, Arkansas at the intersection of Mazzard Road. Plenty of parking is available.

The April session will be held onsite at the Hanging Judge Hamfest and more information can be found at www.hangingjudgehamfest.com

The fee for the test session is $15.00 no matter how many elements you wish to attempt. However, if you wish to re-take one of the elements, there will be an additional fee of $15.00.

You will need to bring a photo ID with you.

If you already have a FCC Amateur License or a CSCE (Certificate of Successful Completion) and are attempting an element to upgrade your license, you should bring both the original document and a photocopy.

The F.C.C. now requires that you obtain an FRN (FCC Registration Number) before the test session.  It is completely free and no credit card information is required. You can apply online here..This will become your permanent F.C.C. License registration.
