Minutes of the Fort Smith Amateur Radio Club August 2019
The August Meeting of the Ft. Smith Area Amateur Radio Club was called to order @ 7:03 pm on 8-19-2019, by Jimmie Lowrey W5JNL, President.
Minutes were published on the website by Steve Rutherford WC5SR, Secretary, Motion by Mike Cole W5TMC to approve them as printed, seconded by Joel Goldstein W5GOL, Motion was approved Unanimously.
John Annis WO0OOO, Treasurer presented the Treasurer’s Report as follows: One Deposit of $17.00 and one Bill Paid $44.00 (Electric for repeater), leaving a Balance of $5,195.32. Rory Bowers made the Motion to approve the Treasurer’s Report, it was Seconded by Dennis Robinson KD5OHT, Motion was approved Unanimously.
Rory Bowers K5CKS presented the Repeater Committee Report. The batteries on the Repeaters had to be charged, the Weeds around the Repeater sight. The Tulsa Link is being moved to the Club’s Repeater Sight. Rory reported the 3 Sticks repeater is not working, he is going up there to check on it. Rory also stated he appreciated the support from those that attended the Leflore County Commissioners Meeting this week.
Mike Cole W5TMC advised the Club that we would be having a Picnic on the 12th of October @ Pavilion 2 @ Ben Geren Park at 3:00 PM. Everyone might bring a chair or two with them.
Mike also advised that FSAARC is in need of Net Operators for the Thursday Night Net. David McDonald advised there would NOT be a ARES/RACES Net this month.

Mike Bell K5JMB made a motion to adjourn the Business Session, motion was approved Unanimously.
