Minutes of the Fort Smith Amateur Radio Club July 2018

The July 2018 Meeting of the Fort Smith Area Amateur Radio Club was called to order @ 7:02 PM by Club President Jimmie Lowrey W5JNL.

The Minutes from the June Meeting were posted on the Club Website, Joe Stokes K5JPS made a Motion to approve the Minutes as posted on the Website, Joel Goldstein W5GOL seconded the Motion, the Minutes were approved Unanimously.

Cathy Haugh, FSAARC Treasurer presented the Treasurer’s Report:

Beginning Balance  $4,643.21

Donation                         30.00     50/50 Drawing

                                $4,673.21

Repeater Due                 43.00

Ending Balance        $4630.21

Chuck Johnson K5JUD made a motion to approve the Treasurer’s Report as presented, Rory Bowers Seconded the Motion, the Treasurer’s Report was approved as presented.

REPEATER:  Rory Bowers K5CKS advised that the LeFlore County Communication Committee had provided a Repeater that could be used on the 444.300 Repeater.  He advised we needed to write a letter of appreciation to them for the help. 

OLD BUSINESS:  Joel Goldstein W5GOL presented the FSAARC with a Key to the City of Greenwood, a copy of the Proclamation for the Club that was presented for FIELD DAY.  The presentation was appreciated.

David McDonald AB5SG, stated that Sebastian County Emergency Management was not happy with the condition of the Trailer that was used by the Club on Field Day was returned to them.  He stated that it was dirty had trash in it and the fuel was not replenished. 

NEW BUSINESS:  The Analyzer purchased by the Club was displayed for everyone to see.  There was no other New Business presented.

Mike Bell K5JMB made a Motion to Adjourn the meeting and it was approved Unanimously.
