At the Skywarn Training Meeting on March 12th Wayne Johnson W5OFN was honored for his many years of Skywarn Service. Wayne has been working during SKYWARN operations since 1972 and continues to serve in this capacity. Wayne also referred to as “Mr. SKYWARN” and “Mr. Weather”, in the presentations was Presented a Plaque and a Certificate from the Sebastian County Emergency Management Office with a “Certificate of Exceptional “Leadership” and also for his “Exceptional Years of Service” by jeff Turner, Director of Sebastian County Emergency Management. Wayne also received a Award from the National Weather Service in Tulsa, presented by Steven Piltz for his Years of Service to the Skywarn Weather Net, it was addressed to Mr. SKYWARN, Wayne Johnson W5OFN. Cake was also served to those attending.
